We are currently seeking an Executive Director!

The Executive Director will drive the strategic vision and operational excellence of ELLA Inspires Magazine. This role requires a dynamic leader with a deep understanding of the luxury market and a passion for storytelling that captivates an affluent readership. As the Executive Director, you will ensure the magazine's reputation as a definitive voice in luxury publishing while expanding our reach and influence.

Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership and Vision

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for positioning the magazine as a leader in the luxury sector.

  • Lead the organization towards achieving strategic and financial objectives.

Partnership Development

  • High-Stakes Negotiation and Deal-Making

    • Lead negotiations for high-value contracts and partnership agreements.

  • Forge partnerships with travel, retailers, and luxury boutiques to enhance the magazine's exposure and prestige.

  • Drive sales strategies to secure high-value advertising deals and partnerships.

  • Identify and evaluate potential acquisitions that align with strategic objectives.

  • Identify and pursue new revenue streams, including high-ticket partnerships and branded events.

Targeted Audience Reach

  • Develop strategies to maximize the magazine's visibility in environments with high traffic from affluent travelers. Airports are prime locations for accessing a readership that aligns with luxury brands’ target demographics.

  • Analyze data related to airport readership demographics and adapt content and marketing tactics to best engage this audience.

Brand Expansion and Recognition

  • Utilize the airport distribution to bolster the magazine's brand as a global luxury authority, capitalizing on the international nature of airports to reach a diverse, global audience.

  • Leverage this distribution model in marketing materials and investor pitches to highlight the magazine's broad reach and targeted audience engagement.

Revenue Generation

  1. New Partnership Sales & Development:

    Explore sponsorship opportunities with luxury brands looking to reach high-net-worth individuals in airports, offering them exclusive advertising packages and partnerships.

  2. Branded Event Sponsorship Sales:

    Generate revenue through the sales of sponsorship packages for exclusive magazine events.

  3. Cross-Promotion and Co-Branding Revenues:

    Develop and execute successful cross-promotion or co-branding strategies.

Crisis Management and Public Relations

  • Develop crisis management plans and serve as the primary spokesperson.

Requirements

Experience and Leadership Skills

  • Strong business acumen with a track record of driving growth and achieving strategic objectives.

Negotiation and Relationship Management Skills

Performance-Based Compensation

New Partnership Development

Objective: Secure strategic partnerships with luxury brands or corporate sponsors that result in additional revenue.

  • Incentive: Commission of 5% to 12% on the total value of new partnership agreements signed.

Event Sponsorship Sales

Objective: Generate revenue through the sales of sponsorship packages for exclusive magazine events.

  • Incentive: Commission of 3% to 12% on the total sponsorship sales for each event.
